Northfield CoderDojo
We believe that everyone should have a chance to create with technology, not just consume it.

At Northfield CoderDojo, volunteer mentors tutor, challenge, and encourage coders as they work on their projects.

Coders build communication skills as they share their work with one another.

It's a family affair: two sisters and their dad explore coding together!

About Us
Northfield CoderDojo is a local chapter of a global network of similar groups. We all have one mission: to offer young people a free, open-ended environment to learn to code. We're one of seven chapters in Minnesota, more than 100 in the United States, and 1200 worldwide.
Coders
Anyone between the ages of 6 and 17 is welcome to come code with us! Whether you're not sure what programming is, have made a million dollars in sales of your own app, or anywhere in between, we'd love to have you. Bring your own computer or other equipment, or use ours - it's all good.
Mentors
If you've got programming know-how (or are willing to learn!), we'd love to have you join us as a volunteer. You get to sign up by event, so it's as big a commitment as your schedule permits!
